Insurance Agent Resignation Letter

This is to confirm my resignation as an insurance agent at the Premier Insurance Company in Dayton, Ohio.

I am hereby informing you that I have been offered a job as the head insurance manger at the Acme Insurance Agency in Denver, Colorado and I have accepted this position. This new position offers me a chance to move upwards in the insurance industry in a management position, which gives me more responsibility and a bigger challenge. This is a perfect career choice that I can’t say no to as I head out west to a larger agency and the next step in my insurance career. I am immensely excited and am looking forward to heading down the road to the new location, with the promise of a larger staff and responsibilities that I didn’t have here at the Premiere Insurance Agency. I am sincerely appreciative of the start that I got here and every one of the opportunities that were given to me.

My last day of work at the Premiere Insurance Company will be on March 30, 2011.  There is no need to be concerned, as I will use my last few days to train whatever replacement you find for my position. I will also make myself available by phone or email, should you need further assistance after I have departed, as I want to make my departure go as smoothly as possible.

I sincerely thank all of the staff here at the Premiere Insurance Company for all the respect and professionalism shown to me here. I will always look back fondly on my job here and be forever grateful for all of the opportunities that I got here and will miss the good friends I have made while I was working here.

I want all of you to know that I sincerely enjoyed my work here at the Premiere Insurance company and if there is any way that I can help in the future, I am ready to do so.

I am leaving my position here at the Premiere Insurance Company with the honest hope that everyone here will have continuous success and excellent luck in their jobs.
